D&R Carpet Service, Inc. was established in 1978. We are the greater Cleveland area’s largest family-owned commercial floor covering dealer – and, we’re growing. Today, the third generation of family takes pride in continuing our tradition of commitment to our customers and community, doing business the “right” way. We Are D&R

Team D&R has been built to best serve our customer’s needs. Your D&R experience starts with our Expert Sales Associates supported by our Estimation and Project Coordination department. Once you have selected to move forward with your project, further support is provided by our Purchasing & Project Management team who works in conjunction with our Project Superintendent and Installment Tech Team Leaders. The purpose of this team is assure you’re receiving the service you deserve and require regardless of the scale or complexity of your project.

D&R was established by its original founder in 1978 with a passion for professionalism, dependability, respect, accountability and humility.  This is a continued tradition and passion of mine to sustain as we continue to grow.  Our D&R Family is dedicated to assure we exceed your project expectations.  The amazing members of this growing family are the reason for our success in which you will recognize immediately as you get to know us, from sales to support to installation.  Our team is excited to be a part of your next project.

Sales Team

Erik Janson – Sales

As part of the D&R sales team – I most enjoy building relationships with clients.  With the majority of our work being referrals, I want to continue providing the best service in the flooring industry to exceed client’s expectations.  I love that D&R is a family-owned business, connecting with each client whether it’s a smaller project or on a large scale, multi-floor installation.  I strive to work closely with our clients on selecting the correct products/services that fit within their budgets for each project.

Office Manager

Karen Lang – Office/AP/AR

I have had the pleasure of witnessing the incredible growth of D&R in my 28 years of employment. My role as Office Manager allows me to get to know the entire staff and installers on a personal level as well as develop and maintain client and vendor relationships. My administrative duties give me a great oversight of the many services we provide. I am grateful to be involved in so many aspects of a project which contribute to a smooth-running office that I take great pride in.

Technicians

Jim Nester – Field Technician

With three generations of our Family working together as flooring installers at D&R with almost 65+ years of tenure combined; Family is also how we feel D&R treats us and is why all three of us have found a home and longevity here.  For myself, Jim Jr what I most enjoy about my role is the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience through training the next generation of D&R’s installation team members.  The variety of projects and products we get to install makes the work rewarding and we are proud of the quality of work we get to consistently complete.

I feel fortunate to be a member of the D&R Family and the opportunity to experience firsthand the kindness that is extended to their customers and employees.  As part of the Sales & Estimating Team my focus is to create consistent, accurate and quality estimates that capture all of the details of the project allowing for a successful installation process by our talented techs.
